Currently, Amazon charges £25 (excl. VAT) as a monthly subscription fee for you to sell on Amazon Europe, along with additional selling fees.

The additional selling fee consists of a referral fee (basis the product you sell) on your sales and other shipping, promotional costs that you might incur based on how you want to do your business.

What is the procedure to get VAT?

To store or sell goods to customers in Europe, you are required to register for VAT. While each Amazon seller is solely responsible for being VAT compliant, Amazon can assist you with regulatory and compliance requirements through the Service Provider Network or the VAT Services on Amazon Program. The time it takes to become VAT registered can vary. To avoid delays, we recommend that you start the process as soon as you register your Europe seller account.

Is there any special document required for exporting food products?

If you wish to overcome the geographical barrier and start selling in international markets, then Amazon global selling program is the one-stop-solution for you. You just have to register as a global seller with Amazon, select your target country and list your products. Everything starting from managing orders, to storage and enhancing sales, is facilitated by the Amazon FBA and other third-party service vendors.

What are the export documents required to sell internationally?

To export from India, sellers have to obtain certain export documents and comply with regulations. Export documents and compliance depends on the product category, origin (India) and destination country.

I don’t have a Amazon India seller account. Can I still sell on other Amazon international marketplaces like the USA, the UK, etc?

Yes, you do not need an Amazon India seller account to sell globally. Simply register and create a seller account in the Amazon marketplace you want to sell your products in.

Are there any language requirements to sell in Europe?

Amazon requires the listings and customer support (delivery and product related) be provided in the native language of the marketplace country, but you need not worry. Many sellers handle language requirements through a mix of Amazon’s translation support tools and/or external third party translation service providers.

If you are an existing Amazon seller then, Amazon simplifies managing your listings with Build International Listings (BIL). The BIL tool helps you in listing your products across all marketplaces by adding offers and synchronizing prices. It also translates the content in international languages such as German, Japanese, French, etc. BIL enables you to add numerous offers to additional marketplaces quickly.

If you are yet to sell on Amazon Europe, then you can use Service Provider Network for listing and translation requirements.

I am already selling on Amazon.in and have a Seller Central account. How can I sell globally with Amazon?
