What is Amazon Global Selling Propel Accelerator?

Focused on enabling Indian startups to expand globally, Amazon Global Selling Propel Accelerator is a rigorous eight-week program designed to help early-stage startups in the consumer products space to become international brands. As a part of the program, a cohort of select startups receive 1:1 mentorship from leaders, a platform to interact with investors and receive handholding support for global launch and expansion.

Who is eligible to participate in Amazon Global Selling Propel Accelerator?
Any startup from the consumables space (ranging from groceries to beauty, bedding to kitchen, apparels to luggage – anything that can be sold on Amazon) with a working product and some revenue generation in place is eligible for participation in the accelerator program.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To participate in Amazon Global Selling Propel Accelerator, some of the requirements are*:
  • Own a startup that operates in the consumer segment
  • Have an applied TM status in India as a startup
  • Be in an early stage funding, ideally seed to pre series A
  • Have scalable supply chain to support global business expansion and demand
  • Have a unique product proposition
How do I apply?
Applications are closed for this season.
How much funding will my firm receive?
There is no mandated funding amount that shall be offered within the program.
What is the selection process and criteria?
An early stage consumer startup based in India:
1) With a working prototype and strong early adoption
2) That possesses an innovative and scalable idea coupled with a great team known for execution excellence
The applications will be evaluated based on the strength of the business idea/plan, team capabilities and relevance to the focus areas. Shortlisted applicants will be inducted into the Amazon Global Selling Propel Accelerator program.
What happens once the program gets over?
Once the program gets over, all the cohort members will be alumni and will be a part of future learning and networking events. There will be a potential opportunity to launch products in the global markets across geographies.
Will there be participation from VC funds?
Yes, there will be an active participation from top VCs, industry leaders, funds, successful founders and government partners in the program. There will be several opportunities to connect with industry stalwarts over multiple learning, mentoring and networking sessions. There is also a dedicated mentorship program where all selected cohort members will closely work with 1 VC across the timeline of the program (12 weeks).
What are the important dates and timeline?
The Amazon Global Selling Propel Accelerator program will be open and accept applications till 14th March 2022. The first shortlist will be announced by March 28th 2022. The top 15-20 startups will be inducted into an eight-week Accelerator program.
I have already raised Series-A funds. Can I still apply for Amazon Global Selling Propel Accelerator program?
We are focused on targeting seed and pre Series-A startups in the program. However, it all depends on a case-by-case basis based on factors mentioned above. So, go ahead and fill out the application and we will get in touch with you.
How many members from my team can attend the event?
We encourage the complete core team to participate in the events that can be done by registering your startup within the program. Please note, only one member shall register the startup on the portal.
