Amazon Global Selling is an e-commerce exports program that enables Indian MSMEs/entrepreneurs/retailers sell their Indian products to international consumers across the world via Amazon international marketplaces.

Amazon Global Selling gives access to sell in 18 international marketplaces in Americas (US, Canada & Mexico), Europe (Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Sweden, Netherland, Poland, Turkey & UK), Middle East (UAE, Saudi Arabia) & Asia-Pacific (Japan, Singapore & Australia).
With this program, Indian MSMEs/entrepreneurs/retailers can list and sell their products on Amazon’s international marketplaces such as www.amazon.com, www.amazon.co.uk, www.amazon.de, www.amazon.ae etc., enabling them to showcase their products to millions of customers across 200+ countries and territories.

What do I need to register as a seller on Amazon?
You can register yourself as a seller in Amazon international marketplaces in 15 minutes:
- Email address & mobile number
- Valid business address
- Credit card (international transaction enabled)
- National identity proof (Aadhar or passport or driving license)
- Business/individual bank statement
In addition to the above documents, you need a few other documents and licences depending on your destination country and product category. For instance, you need VAT document to export to Europe. Amazon has a list of trusted third party service providers who can help you in getting required export documentation.
I don’t have a Amazon India seller account. Can I still sell on other Amazon marketplaces?
Yes, you do not need an Amazon India seller account to sell globally. Simply register and create a seller account in the Amazon marketplace you want to sell your products in. Amazon global seller support is available for your help at each step.
I am already selling on Amazon.in and have a seller central account. How can I sell globally with Amazon?
If you are already selling on Amazon.in, all you need to do is decide the country you want to sell in and simply follow the easy steps mentioned in the sell globally section within seller central.
How is Amazon facilitating payments?
Amazon ensures that the amount gets credited in your preferred bank account & in your preferred currency (INR, USD, GBP, EUR, YEN, AED, etc.).
Are there any country/marketplace level regulatory requirements? If so, does Amazon gives any assistance for the same?
To export from India, sellers have to obtain certain export documents and comply with regulations. Export documents and compliance depends on the product category, origin (India) and destination country. Amazon is offering a three-month subscription at a discounted price of $1 to India-based sellers who register with Amazon Global Selling. You pay a total of $1 for the first three month’s subscription ($1 for first month and $0 for 2nd and 3rd month respectively) instead of paying $39.99 per month and avail savings of $118.97. This offer is limited to selling on Amazon USA, Canada and Mexico marketplaces.
My business isn't based in India. Am I still eligible for the waiver?
No, this promotional offer is only for India-based sellers.

Export compliance & logistics
What are the documentation requirements to sell and ship globally?
You would need to have IEC (Import Export Code), AD code from a bank (Authorised dealer code), KYC documents for yourself and your company, product-specific documentation, if your product requires additional documentation like FDA certificate for health, beauty and grocery products, CPC for toys. You also need destination country specific documentation to do business in that particular country marketplace (Eg: Europe VAT).
I don’t have this documentation. How can I get this documentation done for my company?

How do I avail Amazon partnered carriers for my logistics requirements for Amazon global marketplaces?
You can find contact details of our partnered logistics providers as well as their service provider network links through which you can directly get in touch with them. They will guide you for the onboarding process, as well as assist you in shipping your products directly to international customers or to the Amazon warehouses.
I don't want to use Amazon partnered carriers to manage both my logistics to international customers & to international Amazon warehouses? Can I use my own carriers for the same?
Yes, you can use your own carriers to manage your logistics directly to international customers as well as to Amazon warehouses.
I already have better/negotiated rates with these carriers myself. Is it compulsory to use Amazon negotiated rates?
You can choose to use your own rates with these carriers as this page will just help you connect to the carriers. It would be your decision to use your own rates or Amazon negotiated rates with these carriers. Although for seller central integrated solution to send FBA shipments, you will be able to use only Amazon negotiated rates to ship FBA shipments.
Do I get shipment insurance with these carriers at Amazon negotiated rates?
No, shipment insurance is not included in Amazon negotiated rates. If you want, you can avail shipment insurance directly with the carriers. They will guide you on the process for the same.
What if I don't get good service or have feedback or an escalation with the Amazon partnered logistics carriers?
For any feedback or escalation with the carriers mentioned above, please get in touch with us on global-fba-azn@amazon.com, and we will look into it and take appropriate action. I want to sell in marketplaces other than the ones mentioned i.e. Japan, Australia. Do you have Amazon partnered carriers for the same?
We currently don't have Amazon partnered carriers & rate cards for shipping from India to Japan & Australia. However, you can get in touch with the partnered carriers, and avail their own rate card for shipping to Japan, Australia and other marketplaces not mentioned above. You can also get in touch with the service providers for taxation and compliance to understand documentation requirements for these marketplaces.

Managing your Account
How do I list my products on Amazon's international marketplaces?
You can use our web-based interface to list your products one at a time or excel-based inventory files to list in bulk. The procedure and information required will vary depending on whether your products are already in the Amazon marketplace catalogue. Amazon global seller support is also available to guide you with the needful.
Once you complete your registration for selling on Amazon, you will be guided on the steps needed to list your products. You can choose to avail the listing services from Service Provider Network as well.

How do I manage my international orders on Amazon?
You can view your orders and manage them through “Manage Order” inside Seller Central. If you are using Fulfilment by Amazon, your orders will be fulfilled and shipped by Amazon. If you choose to store and deliver your products on your own, you need to pack and ship products to customers and then confirm to the customer about the shipment through your Seller Central account.
How can I list a product that do not have barcodes?
If the product you sell does not have a barcode or a Global Trade Item Number (GTIN), you can request a GTIN exemption to sell your products on Amazon. Once we have reviewed and approved your application, you will be able to list your products.
