Whether it is board games, educational or soft toys, with children spending more time at home in the last two years, the demand for toys has undoubtedly increased. In today’s world, with online education and home entertainment becoming the focus of our lives, parents encourage their kids to engage in new and interesting indoor games and toys. Even before the pandemic, many parents have been increasingly concerned about their children’s time with screens, especially the passive non-learning screen time.
In fact, recognizing this concern, Vivek Goyal and Dinesh Advani, both parents themselves, embraced technology as a part of their children’s development and founded PlayShifu – an Augmented reality (AR) toy company with unique phygital (physical + digital) play experiences for children aged 2-10 years. As toys exporters in India, Vivek and Dinesh opted for e-commerce export program, Amazon Global Selling, to expand their toy and games business to the world.
