Delivered Duty Paid (DDP): Meaning and definition
What is Delivered Duty Paid (DDP)?
Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) is a term used in international trade to indicate that the exporter will be responsible for all costs incurred before the delivery of goods. This includes shipping cost, any losses sustained as a result of damage sustained in transit, any applicable customs or import duties, and any other fees that may be incurred. It is the importer’s responsibility to unload cargo and transport it from the port to the warehouse if that is the agreed-upon final destination.
