I sell handcrafted products. However, I do not have any handloom mark or any other authentication. Will I be able to join Karigar and get the benefits of reduced referral fee?
Please apply to the program and furnish all the documents that you can share to validate that your products are genuinely handmade. We will get in touch with you to validate the same. Only when we are able to establish that your products are genuinely handcrafted, you will be able to join Karigar and avail its benefits including reduced referral fee. Having an authentication certificate will help in faster processing of application.
I am already selling on Amazon. Can I be a part of Karigar program?
No, currently the program is for new sellers registering directly with Amazon Karigar program. We will let you know once we open this to existing Amazon.in sellers.
We are an NGO/Not for Profit Organization. How can we collaborate with Amazon Karigar?
If you are a government run body/NGO/Not for Profit and are helping artisans, we will onboard you as our collaborators. We will help onboard artisans referred by you on Amazon, subject to relevant terms and conditions. Please apply on the link given on this page.
What are the requirements to sell under the Karigar program?
In addition to the other requirements mentioned in these FAQs, your products should not be machine made and you need to have all the requirements to Sell on Amazon - proprietorship details, contact details, bank account, GST, PAN are mandatory. I don’t have GST and I want to sell my products online. How can Amazon Karigar help me?
You need to have GST to Sell on Amazon. Don't have GST? You can connect with a third party service provider to help you get GST by clicking on the below link.
Is there a registration fee to join Karigar?
No. Joining the Karigar program is without any additional cost. However, standard Amazon fees may apply for order processing and fulfillment.
Who will take care of my logistics, inventory and seller account?
Karigar team will only help you get started on Amazon.in with training, account set up and account management support for the first 30 days. You will also be provided with one-time imaging & cataloguing facilities, at no additional cost, with respect to the products with which you want to launch on Amazon.in. However, you will be managing your seller account yourself.

How will I get notified of the training schedule? How much do I need to pay for them?
Once you are invited for the program, you will get an SMS or E-mail notification with the exact date and location of the training if it is an offline workshop or you will get a webinar registration link if it is an online training session. This onboarding session will be for all the sellers launched under the Karigar program at no additional cost.
I have already applied but there has been no response. How can I escalate the same to Amazon?
