Clicking on new application will get you to the Product Approval Eligibility Criteria page where you will have to answer some questions. On the basis of your answers, the website will inform you as to whether your products fall within the limits of FSS approved products or not and if they are eligible or not. After this, you will need to click on the product details page where you will be required to fill in details of the ingredients and additives present in the products.

Before you go ahead with filling out the form, make sure you have all the supporting documents ready to upload. Some of the documents you’ll need include, product, ingredient and additive related documents, label related documents, affidavit, method of analysis and certificate of analysis from NABL, ILAC accredited labs. There will be a checklist at the end of the page so you can see if you have uploaded all your documents.

Payment

Once you’ve checked and rechecked your application and are sure of the details you have provided, it’s time to make your online payment. Once you do this, you will receive acknowledgement for submitting the application.
