- A store/retail store/ kirana shop in any part of the country.
- Ability to deliver orders same day/next day to customers in your area (through your own delivery person or a courier partner).
- Optional: It will help if you have the ability to provide additional services such as demo or installation (if applicable) during delivery.

‘Local Shops on Amazon’ is a program that lets you register your physical store on Amazon.in and potentially sell to more customers in your local area. With Local Shops, you can offer fast track delivery speeds of same day, one day and two day and get one step closer towards getting ‘Prime Badge’ on your Self-Ship listings that may help customers around you to discover you faster through Amazon.in!

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To be a seller on Local Shops on Amazon you need to:
- Own a physical store/retail store/ kirana shop in any part of the country.
- Arrange for delivering orders same day/next day/ 2 days to customers in your area (through your own delivery personnel using the delivery App* to mark scans or through a third party courier partner).

How Local Shops on Amazon works

Create an account for selling on Amazon.in

Upload your product details and set price

Enroll into Local Shops program either at the time of registration or by going to Seller Central > go to settings > click Shipping Settings > opt into the Local Shops program. Now your default delivery coverage will be set to two days for your area/region. You can modify the areas/region that you want to get orders from; where you can deliver the orders either same day, next day or maximum in 2 days

How to deliver Local Shops orders?
You can choose between the two delivery methods to fulfill your Local Shops orders
Third Party Couriers: Deliver through any third-party courier partners
Self Deliver: Deliver orders yourself or through your delivery personnel & update its status by marking scans on the delivery App
What is delivery App?
The delivery App is used for marking scans for Self Ship orders during pick-up and deliveries.
Pre-requisites to install the App:
You (seller) have a selling account on Amazon Seller Central
Your Delivery Personnel is registered on Amazon.in as a customer
Your Delivery Personnel has an Android device (version 6.0+, not available on iOS)
How to install the delivery App?

Log into Amazon Seller Central and go to Settings> Account Info > Buy Shipping Preferences. Click on Add New Address button to save your business address
Note : If the address updated here does not match the address updated in Manage GST detail page, your Delivery Personnel will not be able to use the delivery App
Step 3
Go to Settings > User Permissions and under Delivery drivers section, enter your Deliver Person's Name, E-mail Address (registered on Amazon.in as a buyer) and click on Invite. It is your responsibility to ensure the correct name and email address of your delivery personnel are entered in the appropriate fields.


Note: Post installing the App, make sure the delivery agent is logging in with delivery agent mail ID and not the seller central mail ID.

Your delivery person must click on the link sent to their E-mail ID (registered on Amazon.in) to download the app as shown below

Once logged in (as shown above), your delivery person will be prompted to download the installation file. The delivery personnel is then required to click on Download to download and install the app.

Click on Download

Choose "Install anyway"
